Tomorrow officially marks the beginning of my ironman training program. Since my Half Ironman I haven't been in a pool once and my race number would still be on my bike if it weren't for Mr. Drenning. He managed to convince me that a bike ride with an out-of-towner along with some dinner was a good idea. And what an idea it was!
My first solo workout is tomorrow - :30 Active Rest. Yes, active. This means I must actually do something physical to aid in my recovery from weeks of sedentary behavior. So, I'm going to attempt to find a yoga class and try to convince at least one of my girlies to join me as it would be so much easier at the end of the day to come home, have a glass of wine and contemplate stretching and strengthening my body.
And so the journey begins...
